I had a fabulous time photographing this cutie on Friday. He did such a great job sleeping to let me pose him around! Just like his cousin who was in 5 months ago and boy do they look alike!

This is the original color of the blanket and sack but I knew I wanted to change it in post processing.
Look at those adorable perfect lips, and little chick fuzz of hair!

Cecelia, was truly the perfect model today. She did everything we asked of her. Born in October we couldn’t resist adding a few baby pumpkins to the shoot.
We also used the same yellow damask backdrop that we used for their maternity session to bring all the images together once in a book or hung on the wall. Please enjoy all the sweetness that Cecelia was happy to share! 
I’m always so honored when families choose me to photograph their new additions, especially when one of the grand parents worked at Kodak! Their walls were filled with family portraits and other works of photography which of course made me smile! Lucy was a pure joy and despite not really wanting to sleep for me we got some incredible photos! The light as their house was amazing, which made for some beautiful natural light photos. The Lang family first came to me when their first son was born in December of 2009 and it was so fun to have him back in the studio for his baby brother’s newborn session. Born exactly one month early on July 4th Catlin was full of pure squishyness! 
I absolutely adore all my clients especially the ones who fly me to their location and welcome me into their lives and home while they’re still trying to adjust to life as parents. It is such a magical time and I’m honored to be a part of it! We had booked my plane ticket about a month before baby arrived so I was just praying that he came close to his due date, and thankfully he did arriving one day early! Crandon was born 6 pounds, 13 ounces and 20-inches long. But boy was he long, long legs, toes and arms. I opened up some images from another newborn I photographed right before I left, both 6 pounds but an incredible difference in size. Enjoy the few first look ones I couldn’t wait to share. Thanks again Dan and Katie for having me out.
